Bio
I am very passionate about neuroscience and am currently in neurology residency. I have been active in the American Academy of Neurology and helped make short educational videos on neurology. I hope to complete a fellowship after residency training. I am also a huge fan of true crime and regularly keep up with updates of new cases. I enjoy watching tv and have a long list of shows to catch up on. I also like to find new cuisine and trying to explore the city!Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Analyzing the Distance from Hospital to Mortality in Brain Injury
You would work with a list of de-identified patients from a database. You would have to determine the distance of each patient's home zipcode to their nearest tertiary level hospital within a certain date range. You would run univariate analysis to compare the mortality outcome of patients based on their their distance to the hospital.
