Bio
I'm a MEng mechanical engineering graduate from UC Berkeley, with a minor in data science. My specialization lies within fluid dynamics; a tool that is used in applications in various different fields from aerospace to biomedical to renewable energy industries. My degrees in engineering and data science also help in understanding the intersection of machine learning algorithms with modern engineering principles. I'm a very social person, so when I'm not working, I like to hang out with my friends and plan activities, from hikes to cookouts. When it comes to unwinding, I'm usually outdoors.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Flow analysis for cardiovascular diseases using CFD
By simulating blood flow through arteries, one can identify areas of varying pressure and flow. This is an essential part of designing devices that are involved in cardiovascular procedures. Some of the skills that can be learned from this project are 3D modeling, running basic fluid simulations, conducting literature reviews and carrying out data analysis.
