Abstract or project description

Shreyas wants to understand correlations between NFL playoff-caliber teams and their draft strategy or high-end off-season signing additions. the hypothesis is "When looking at the NFL over the past 5 seasons a team’s success both via on-field play and off-field revenue is more strongly correlated to their draft strategy than “high end” off-season spending additions (>$5M) with success being defined as playoff appearances and total revenue. We will accomplish by analyzing multiple datasets and running correlation analyses across these datasets as well as bringing in expert research across the industry.
