Abstract or project description

Intro Pancreatic cancer (statistics) Broadly talk about ASOs (history, when did the idea come around, how were they “discovered”) Why is this a candidate for ASOs Injection to degradation Chemical Modifications (different generation) Mechanism of Action of RNase H1 (kinetics) What progress (clinically or research wise) has shown ASOs in pancreatic cancer specifically What success has it had in other cancers?

It will be important that I am able to link pancreatic cancer with ASOs. There is not a lot of research available, so I will likely need to use information on other cancers. Furthermore, my ultimate goal is to spur a policy maker to allocate more money for the ASO research. I want there to be not a lot of research available so I can say that there needs to be more. As long as I can prove that they are effective in other treatments, what is stopping those treatments to be applied to PC?
