Bio
I am currently a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Columbia University, where my research focuses on suicide risk assessments across the lifespan, including in adolescents, young adults, and adults. Prior to graduate school, I spent two years working in research at Columbia University Medical Center on a brief intervention for suicidal patients in the emergency room. I received my BA in psychology from Middlebury College where I explored dual interests in clinical and organizational psychology. This led me first to Goldman Sachs, where I spent a working in human capital management. Outside of psychology, I love literature, politics, and sociology. I know I have benefited tremendously from incredible mentors across industries and experiences and am always happy when I can provide the same for others!Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Psychology Research Blitz
We'll work together to enable you to develop in-depth expertise in a focused area of your choosing, such as creativity and mental illness, or treatment approaches for panic attacks. Your work will result in a 10-minute "Research Blitz" where you succinctly deliver a ted-style talk covering the most up-to-date research on your topic in the field.
Design A Research Study
Have a particular psychological research question that hasn't been explored in prior literature? Together we'll explore relevant existing work, your hypotheses, and research methodology, as you devise a plan for a research study that you could realistically implement one day.
