Predicting stock prices after an earnings report is incredibly difficult for even seasoned investors. Veer's project will be to utilize machine learning to create a multi-modal model that estimates the price of a stock immediately after an earnings report. He will do this by combining an LSTM model and a sentiment model. He will combine the two using a model he writes himself. Afterwards, the multi-modal model will be evaluated for accuracy. This project requires gathering stock market data and scraping earnings reports.
