Abstract or project description
Tanya is working on a project dealing with disability accommodation in India. The paper takes a look at the historical context for educational accessibility, including a discussion of caste and British colonization, then discusses historical and modern education reforms dealing with this issue. After examining the relevant legislation, the paper then lays out different models to effectively handle accessibility in the educational space for students with disabilities, and puts forward an approach that synthesizes these models.
