Abstract or project description

Based on our discussion, Shriya expressed an interested in exploring novel advancements in ophthalmology. An example of this involves development of approaches to restore vision in patients with diverse injuries ranging from stroke to ocular damage. We will plan to explore how elucidation of neural pathways and molecular components of the visual system has led to excitement around neurostimulation-based approaches for restoration of vision.
