Abstract or project description
Saxon will create a painting to answer her research question of how childhood trauma impacts adolescent mental, physical, and social health. She is particularly interested in how childhood trauma impacts adolescents' familial and romantic relationships. Her painting will be informed by peer-reviewed research articles, books, and other texts. She will provide an accompanying description and text with citations to provide viewers with further context of her research questions and journey. Her goal is to create a painting that will allow for multiple perspectives and learning about childhood trauma and its impact on relationships.
