Abstract or project description

First I will discuss the relevance of evaluating public and private policies on reducing gender disparities in unpaid labor. I will discuss statistics that demonstrate the extent of this phenomenon, and the subsequent effects of these disparities that result in unequal outcomes for the genders. I will then describe different economic, political, and social circumstances of a region, and the public and private policies that have been tried in the past. Next, I will evaluate the effectiveness of these policies on reducing the gender gap in unpaid labor, and which types of policies are most effective for different circumstances.
