Making "The Republic" game based on Venetian nobility in medieval ages.

Started May 23, 2024

Abstract or project description

To win the game, get influence with the Byzantine emperor. You have to take some decisions, costing money, to get this influence. You also need the approval of the pope for these decisions. To get money, you set up trading posts (although there is a limit) and get money from Venice. You can also build buildings in Venice to get more money. You need to be elected to get any money, though. Try to get approval from the population and the nobility for your house to stay in power. If another house takes venice, you get no money until you get back into power. Once you get 1000 influence, you have won the game. If you don't get the influence before other republics, you lose the game.
