Childhood obesity is an uprising issue in many Western countries, and now, that problem has started to affect Eastern countries as well. There are several reasons for this, for example, unhealthy diets, different lifestyles, or the lack of exercise. Additionally, injuries are an inherent aspect of sports, but how exercising as an obese child increases the injuries in sports has not been addressed. The extra weight and lack of conditioning can lead to fatigue related injuries. Moreover, there is also a psychological factor which leads to obese children trying to evade exercising; The feeling of anxiousness and being more self-conscious really impairs their performance and leads to unnecessary injuries.
