Literature Review on Competitive Behavior

Started July 13, 2023

Abstract or project description

This project will be a literature review focused on research that has examined competitive behaviors and competition in humans. Literature will be reviewed to understand what factors increase or decrease competitive behaviors and how competition varies according to physical environment (e.g., school, home, etc.). The final product will be a literature review with the goal of submitting the manuscript for publication. The project will focus on one's behavior in a competitive environment, especially relating to someone's ego and pride. We will use the scientific method to decide whether someone's personality or pride will affect how they participate in competitive activities, situations, etc.
