Abstract or project description

For my Polygence project, I am conducting a review of the current body of literature that relates to the connection between attachment style and ADHD. I will also be writing a literature review to explore this connection. The paper will be looking at the connection between ADHD and insecure attachment, and then focusing in on the connection between ADHD and disorganized attachment, for which there initially seems to be a bigger link. Lastly, the paper will examine how ADHD and attachment influences the family as well as how treatment should be orientated around these findings. The conclusion of this literature review discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the overall body of literature and the implications of research findings with respect to future research and practice.
