Abstract or project description

In recent times, San Francisco has been caught off guard by a wave of homelessness and drug addiction. This is not the first city to fall under such conditions. Since the early 20th century, Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and many other major cities have been struggling to manage their homelessness problem. Given our data, we know that drugs and homeless are intertwined issues. The speed of constructing housing units falls behind the growth of the homeless population. An addict is likely to return to homelessness unless the addiction becomes manageable with professional help.

The goal of this project is to create an economically sustainable solution through game theory in which we can limit the effects of substance abuse among the homeless and punish drug lords through a previously unexplored method.
