Procedural Animation and Complex Ecosystem Interactions in Unity

Abstract or project description
This project is a portfolio-quality game scene which displays Marselis' work with procedural animation and interaction algorithms in Unity. Currently, the plan is to create a procedurally-animated set of characters: the player, a predator, and some sort of prey. The player's actions will influence the actions of the other characters based on algorithms for path-finding for resources in the environment. The scene will be a downloadable game published on a dev blog. Marselis also intends to create YouTube tutorials for some of the more esoteric techniques of 2D kinematics and procedural animation in Unity to help other developers, since these aspects are not well documented online.
