Abstract or project description

Mackenzie is researching how inequalities in charter schools can affect students. As of now, she is interested in how funding and classroom-related inequalities (students per classroom, amount spent on education per student, teacher qualifications, etc.) affect the quality of education in charter schools. In turn, she would like to study how these inequalities affect students outside of school. How does classroom quality affect students' quality of life? What long-term effects do these inequalities have on students in college and beyond? Through her research, Mackenzie also expects to touch on issues related to economic inequality in districts.
