Kirati is estimating the economic impact of Taylor Swift's Era's tour by a direct effect of ticket sales and an indirect effect of hotel and restaurant sales. She has conducted a literature review to understand what other authors have done in the space, and explain how her work fits into this. She is writing this to appeal to younger audiences and make economics more accessible, and to identify the effect of a potential second tour. Lastly, she will learn a bit about difference in difference, a common economic technique to identify causal inference, and programming in python.
