Analysis of Various Oblique Wing Configurations

Started May 28, 2024

Abstract or project description

Although many airplanes in our everyday lives look very similar, there are many parts that we can still improve on to make airplanes even faster and more efficient. One of the most significant parts engineers are working on is the wing. There are many types of wings, some that blend into the body, some that connect to the tail, and also different designs at the tip of the wing. They all have their strengths and weaknesses that need to be analyzed more. We can do different tests using 3D modeling to better understand which wing designs are the best. Using our analysis, we can also see what type of plane it would function best on: either commercial, military, or entertainment.
