Abstract or project description

We are working on documenting interviews and oral histories from artists in various conflict zones in the Middle East. We want to do this in order to shed light on critical political and social issues and the works of various artists in relation. We have decided to pursue a podcast as the form for our final project. I have come up with a series of questions to start the conversation: 1. What prompted you to begin your journey as an artist? 2. Who do you intend to influence with your art, and why? 3. What is your message and how are you using your platform to spread this message? 4. You are known as an artist with controversial pieces, what motivates you to continue to produce this kind of art? 5. What advice do you have for potential artists who want to use art to express themselves and communicate a message?
