How can Machine learning be applied to predictive healthcare ?

Abstract or project description

Much of the limitations of healthcare systems currently reside around the access and analysis of research data. This project aims to explore the potential for Machine Learning predictive models in streamlining the analysis of large amounts of research data that would alternatively be done by hand. Machine Learning models will be given several different forms of datasets (image classification, attributed data) and their accuracy as compared to existing research will be evaluated, to provide insight on their potential use in healthcare settings.
