How do factors of anxiety affect the academic performance of high school students?

Abstract or project description

There has been research conducted that shows a correlation between cognitive test-taking anxiety and scores. Higher test taking anxiety results in lower test scores. However, which factors induce this test taking quality? In this informative paper, I look to use reviewed articles to research on how factors of anxiety such as peer pressures, parental pressures, society expectations, and mental setbacks affect high school students’ academic performance. This review aims to define how these factors of anxiety impact the academic performance of high school students on a daily basis.
