Abstract or project description

This article investigates the genetic aspects of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), a condition that impacts many individuals and families. Through a review of the literature, the article will delve into the heritability of ASD and highlight how genetic factors contribute to the disorder and affect those with a familial history of autism. Then, the article will discuss environmental factors that contribute to and interact with ASD and examine the role of epigenetics. More specifically, how external factors can modify gene expression and, consequently, the risk of developing ASD. The article will conclude by identifying the key indicators of ASD, providing a thorough analysis of both its genetic and environmental determinants.
