Abstract or project description

In our project, we aim to examine the impacts of the 340B program on multiple different facets of healthcare among low-income patients. In particular, we aim to explore the impacts on drug/healthcare access among low income patients, drug/healthcare quality, and the financial implications 340B can have on both participating hospitals and eligible patients. We are currently finding new sources to include in our research paper. Overall, we want to explore the multiple facets of the breadth of the impact of 340B via citing evidence from scholarly sources. In our discussion, we aim to examine these sources on a broader scale and make a verdict on the efficacy of 340B in regards to fulfilling its original intention, which is to serve uninsured and low-income patients.
