Investigating Disulfidptosis: A Novel Cell Death and Target in Cancer Therapy

Started June 18, 2024

Abstract or project description

Disulfidptosis is a newly discovered form of regulated cell death triggered by disulfide stress. This disulfide stress is caused by the accumulation of cystine which leads to cytoskeleton collapse and eventual cell death. This literature review aims to explore the mechanisms of disulfidptosis while highlighting several promising and current therapies.
