Analyzing the Costs Associated with ACL Tear Injury, A Systematic Review

Abstract or project description
ACL tears are one of the most common injuries amongst both athletes and non-athletes. With high morbidity, the treatment options for ACL tears are invasive, with a significant amount of time needed to heal. The true cost of these injuries are not fully understood and the long term implications are still unknown. This project is a systematic review to classify the true, total costs of ACL tears through analyzing the research of previous studies regarding ACL tears. This information can be utilized to provide credence for interventions for preventative interventions and long-term care regarding ACL tears and how the quality of life is impacted.
