Project's result

Research Paper

They started it from zero. Are you ready to level up with us?

Summary

A research paper detailing the financial sustainability of the European football model using second hand sources, mainly published articles and official websites. The research paper consists of three parts, inflation in the player market, the broadcasting deals of the top leagues and their trends over time, and a comparison with the American MLS model. Part 1 will review the history of the transfer market, the current trends, and what it means for sustainability. Part 2 will review the history of broadcasting deals and the current trend, and how they have impacted sustainability as well as how their current trajectory will impact it in the future. Part 3 will compare the European model to the MLS and it will break down how the differing structure of the MLS impacts sustainability and if it is a better model for ensure sustainability than the European model. The conclusion will then recap all parts and the impact on sustainability before providing my assessment on the sustainability of the model.
