Bio

Hello! My name is Darnell Campbell Jr. I am a recent Wealth Management Senior Analyst for Bank of America's Global Wealth and Investment Management Strategy Team. In this role, I help develop and implement strategic initiatives and programs that align with the goals of senior stakeholders at Bank of America’s Private Bank and Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Brokerage. My responsibilities include data aggregation and analysis to increase efficiencies and optimize processes. Service is a core passion of mine. Outside of work, I mentor colleagues at the bank, providing guidance and support to help them succeed. Another unique pursuit of mine is poetry, which has been a meaningful outlet for me. In 2023, I self-published my first poetry book on Amazon titled Infinite: A Collection of Everlasting Poetry, reflecting my journey of life, hope, and self-healing. Both mentoring and poetry are deeply ingrained in my life, and I am grateful for these opportunities to contribute and reflect. My drive to serve is inspired by the trailblazing efforts of black professionals before me, which motivates me to give back.

Onboarding Mentor: I assisted three new analysts in joining the GWIM Strategy Team, helping them acclimate to the team's approach, understand their role responsibilities, and identify additional resources within the bank to support their career development. Cornell University: During my undergraduate studies, I served as the co-chair for Black Students United, an organization representing over 2,000 students and 20 sub-organizations. Additionally, I mentored freshmen through the Scholars Working Ambitiously to Graduate and Link Men’s Alliance, providing insights and support to help them navigate their academic and personal journeys.
