Bio
Hi there! I am a postdoctoral fellow in clinical child psychology at Stanford University School of Medicine and received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. I have advanced knowledge in research design and methods, statistics, mental health disorders, and child and adolescent development. Broadly, my research aims to develop and test digital platforms to prevent and treat mental health concerns in youth and young adults. My teaching philosophy is to make learning engaging, approachable, and fun. I tailor my lessons according to my students' goals and allow them to take control of their own progress and success. I look forward to working alongside you!Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Eating Disorders and Obesity in the U.S.
In this project, we will take a deep-dive into understanding the etiology (i.e., cause) of eating disorders and obesity in the United States. I will assign you scientific journal articles that we will read and discuss. I will help guide you as you determine the most important risk factors for eating and weight concerns, and together we will develop a social media account dedicated to informing others of the issue and how to seek care.
