Bio
I am an MD candidate and aerospace medicine researcher at the Medical University of South Carolina pursuing a career in compassion-centered clinical care. My passions are serving the hurting, making new discoveries, and mentoring curious learners! I am best equipped to support individuals motivated to excel academically and professionally, drawing on my experience in writing academic posters and publications, leading student organizations, and directing laboratory teams. My personal interests include culinary arts, competitive sports, and freshwater fishing. I also volunteer as a mental health crisis counselor and as a free clinic patient coordinator on the weekends. Growing up in a family of ten kids taught me to cherish my downtime, during which I enjoy playing chess and acoustic guitar.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
