Bio
I am a current graduate student at Vanderbilt pursuing an MS in Data Science. I graduated from Denison University in 2016 with a degree in Mathematics and minor in Economics. Over the last five years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow as a data science professional in various fields and industries including education, criminology, financial services, and digital advertising. I am inspired by the way we can apply analytics and creativity to the data of our past to gain insights and create a better future. When I am not working with data, I love being outside. I played tennis in college and have an affinity for athletics and exercise. I am also interested in nutrition and cooking.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Predicting Customer Behavior
What factors influence consumer's interest or disinterest in a product? Many companies are moving more and more towards targeted ads to their customers, but how do they know what content to send to each individual? This project would involve an exploratory data analysis of customer past behavior ultimately clustering them into groups and predicting future consumer behavior.
