Bio
Hello! I am an Architectural Designer based in NYC. I work on various scales from single-family residential to institutional and civic buildings. I currently am pursuing my architectural license and developing two small personal projects, both homes outside the US. I have experience across the entire architectural process from concept development to construction. I enjoy overlaying architectural theory and design theory within my practice. Outside of architecture I enjoy spending most of my time out and about in NYC. Museums, parks, galleries, and lectures are plenty here. I also enjoy painting, cake decorating and the occasional video game.Project ideas
A Pavilion in the Landscape
Develop the design of a small structure situated within a vast landscape. The pavilion will be used to host small concerts and artist talks throughout the summer months. The program consists of entry, ticketing booth, restrooms and back of house spaces, a stage, audience seating and small cafe. Deliverables might include drawings such as plans, sections and elevations, conceptual images that showcase your concept and intent, and a physical model built to scale.
Remix A House
This project will research the various means and methods used to produce architectural drawing and imagery. Choose from a list of historically significant houses and compile a body of research showing the way the project was originally drawn and develop an opinion and response to them. After investigating the drawings you will embark on producing your own drawings of the house. Drawings should not replicate what is already drawn, but rather should be planned with the intent to push the conceptual driver of the house as well as capture the personal agenda of the student. Final deliverables might be 2D plans, elevations and sections, collages and photo realistic renders, physical drawings, etc.
