Bio
Hi! I’m Nicole Zambrana García. I started doing research when I was still a high school student in an inorganic chemistry lab at my undergraduate institution. Since then, I have had a great love for science and learning! I have also worked in a cell engineering lab at the Johns Hopkins University and a cancer biology lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I have had the opportunity to participate in several fellowship programs and present at national conferences. Because of these experiences, I’ve been able to provide mentorship to students in a lab environment but also trough their application process to summer programs, scholarships and/or graduate school. Currently, I work as a clinical research coordinator at Johns Hopkins University where I assist with the development and completion of clinical projects in a variety of STEM areas. I look forward to being a research mentor and provide guidance in science as well as the student’s academic journey!Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
