Bio

My name is Shane and I am a graduate of West Point and Harvard Business school. I have my undergraduate degree in economics, and I served over five years as a Military Intelligence Officer in the US Army. I am passionate about a number of different topics, but most involve education and economics. Within economics, I am most interested in macroeconomics and the global economy. Within education, I am passionate about public education reform in the United States. Finally, I am curious to learn more about generative AI and its implication on the future of work and the global economy. When I'm not working, I love to spend time with my friends and family. I'm happiest when I'm playing golf, outside on the water, or working out with the people I care about. I am beyond excited to get to know you and learn more about a project that you are truly passionate about!

Generative AI and the Future of Work in 2035

Conduct research and project out what the future of work will look like with the introduction and advancement of generative AI. Will there be job displacement? If so, how much? Will the United States and other countries have to implement new policies to support those displaced? What historical examples can we look to for an idea of what this change will look like?

Teaching experience

I taught, led, and mentored Soldiers for five years as an Officer in the US Army. Now, I work with a non-profit that helps veterans prepare strong applications to graduate schools.
