Bio
My name is Natalie Malone (she/her) and I am a counseling psychology doctoral candidate at the University of Kentucky. I study Black women's sexual, spiritual, and holistic wellness. I apply my studies to the larger Black community and populations of Color because I am committed to us feeling like our best selves! I am a therapist, researcher, yoga teacher, and business owner! I am passionate about self discovery, awareness, love, and giving to the community. I love to travel, read books, and spend time with my family.Project ideas

Studying Yoga as A Pathway for Black Queer Women's Sexual Wellness
This project will interview Black queer women with varying amounts of yoga experience and determining how practicing yoga benefits their sexual wellness and ability to have pleasurable sex. Secondary questions will ask how yoga benefits this population's mental health.

I have five years of experience mentoring undergraduate and graduate students - specifically students of Color. I have three years of teaching experience as a university professor, workshop facilitator, and guest lecturer across the U.S.Credentials
