Bio
I am a Bioengineering PhD candidate at UC Berkeley. I have a Master's in Computer and Information Technology from UPenn as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. I have conducted extensive research on how to improve biomedical imaging modalities such as magnetic resonance imaging, optical microscopy and photoacoustic imaging. French is my first language. I love to read a good novel and try to do so every day, even if only for 15 minutes. I enjoy knitting during the winter. Helping others provides me with a great feeling of accomplishment.Project ideas
The Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging
Computer science and technology have a ubiquitous influence in modern society. Artificial intelligence, particularly, appears to have an ever-increasing impact in the healthcare field. In this project, students could investigate the numerous ways in which artificial intelligence constitutes a valuable tool to further the progress of medicine and increase healthcare quality. They could focus their research around the applications of AI in terms of medical prevention, medical diagnosis, medical treatment or even medical research. This would involve extensive literature review and could result in a publication in a scientific journal.
