Bio
Hi! I am currently a PhD student at Northwestern University studying Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Medicine/ Health Psychology. My research passions are in creating interventions for people with chronic illnesses to optimize mental health outcomes through lifestyle modifications (i.e., physical activity, mindfulness, sleep). Ultimately, I hope to increase quality of life for those battling chronic illnesses in a way that is accessible and equitable. Outside of research, my interests involve hiking, boxing, working out and traveling! I love to camper van and explore national parks, as well as travel the world and try new foods, meet new people, and explore cultures different than mine!Project ideas

Investigating the Effect of Pilates on Health-Related Quality of Life in Breast Cancer Survivors
This study will recruit 100 breast cancer survivors total (BCS) who a) regularly engage in pilates (defined as: do pilates >1 time a week) (N=50) or b) do not engage in pilates or physical activity (N=50). We will employ questionnaires related to quality of life, anxiety, depression, muscularity, and self-efficacy to assess how pilates may have an effect on health-related quality of life in BCS.
