Bio
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience where my thesis focuses on utilizing stem cells to understand how neurons degenerate in neurological disorders. Specifically, I employ a combination of molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry to study Lou Gehrig's Disease, also known as ALS. Additionally, I have several years of experience designing experiments, writing research proposals, drafting peer-reviewed scientific publications, and presenting my work to national audiences. In my free time I enjoy cooking, eating, and reading books on the beach. I also really enjoy traveling so I can learn more about the human experience by immersing myself in cultures foreign from my own.Project ideas
