Bio
Originally from outside of Boston, I have lived in New York City, Germany, and China. After college, I was awarded a Fulbright grant and I traveled to Munich for one year to eat pretzels and do in depth research on post-1990 Germany. When I returned, I became a public high school ESL and social studies teacher in New York City. Seeking a new adventure in 2015, I received a US State Department fellowship which sent me all the way to Beijing, China, where I focused on curriculum writing, teacher training, and drama education. If you look in the right places, you can even find my professional acting and voice over work debut in China, performing in videos for an English phonics app. For fun I cycle, hike, travel, read, binge watch true crime tv series, and sing! If you need someone to sing the entire album of Hamilton, I'm your top pick. My favorite place to hike is the Great Wall of China- in the 4 years I lived in Beijing, I went over 25 times!Project ideas
