Bio
I received my PhD in psychology at Columbia University. I am also a mental health practitioner, specializing in trauma, addiction, and mental health. My experiences have given me a deep and macro-perspective on complex social issues and the skills necessary to navigate different institutional contexts. I am also a published author in textbook chapters and journals.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Literature Review
Write a literature review on a topic like mental health, behavioral psychology, or peer pressure. Learn how to synthesize current research papers and articulate your own thoughts and ideas on the topic.
Academic presentation
Learn about a topic in Mental Health and/or advocacy that interests you! Then we can work together on skills to present on your topic effectively. This could be a traditional presentation and slide deck or you could even identify critical stakeholders to present to in your school or community.
Teaching experience
I have mentored multiple students and have extensive experience tutoring high school and college students.Credentials
