Bio
I received my PhD in psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. I am also getting my license as a mental health practitioner, specializing in trauma-informed and mental health for young adults. I have engaged in advocacy work as a University Senator across all the colleges at Columbia University and as the Chair of the APA Division 9 Graduate Student Committee of SPSSI, which works on both policy and psychology issues. My experiences have given me a deep and macro-perspective on complex social issues and the skills necessary to navigate different institutional contexts. I am also a published author in textbook chapters and journals. In my free time, I enjoy trying out different cuisines, outdoor activities, traveling, trekking, and an engrossing novel!Project ideas
