Bio
I am an MPH student at UCLA in the Department of Health Policy and Management. My current interests include global health policy, immigrant health, and comparative policy. I am interested in working with different civil society organizations, research centers, and within the hospital system. From my undergraduate career, I have a background in life sciences, genetics, global health, and human biology. Outside of school, I enjoy working out and cooking. I appreciate staying fit and working on my physical health and intellectual fitness. I also love to sew and make new items from clothing I find at thrift stores.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Community Based Participatory Research in the Community of Ban Song Kaew
The project shall start by communicating with the community to address issues they would like addressed within the community. By integrating into a migrant community focusing on how to improve their children's overall health, the project will aim to identify sustainable, actionable solutions for the community. The project should use integration and literature reviews of other community-based research that has been done.
Teaching experience
I have been a TA at UCLA for undergraduates in genetics, biology, and ethics. I have also mentored incoming MPH students.Credentials
