Bio

I am an aerospace quality engineer that loves working with people, processes, and products to improve the organization, the customers we serve, and the environment we live in one step at a time. My academic expertise lies in mechanical engineering and quality tools that can help with mistake proofing, problem solving, and continuous improvement. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Engineering Management to further apply my leadership abilities in technical and non-managerial roles, enhance my mechanical engineering background in the fields of energy, environment, and advanced manufacturing, and utilize strategic-based thinking in my daily work to align with the broader organizational goals. Outside of work, some of my hobbies include cooking, drawing, and playing badminton. I am passionate about aligning my job responsibilities towards a sustainable future for our society. Interesting fact: I have worked in 4 different states over the last 3 years!

Inspection Time Reduction Project

Suppose you are supporting a manufacturing operations environment and you have designed a brand new design that is ready for production. There is a critical operation step that requests detailed inspection of the newly designed product. You have been tasked by your supervisor to design an inspection tool that can significantly reduce inspection time per part and standardize inspection methods. How would you go about this? What steps would need to be taken to validate the effectiveness of the inspection tool?
