Bio

Hi! My name is Camdyn, and I’m a junior at the University of Southern California (USC) pursuing a bachelor’s in Cognitive Science and a master’s in Gerontology. I’m interested in cognition, Alzheimer’s Disease, and finding ways to help our growing elderly population. I currently work in a clinical research lab studying elderly financial decision-making and cognition. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, completing crossword puzzles, bullet journaling, and spending time with friends.

Project ideas

Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.

Research Paper

We could write a research paper analyzing various existing research on the connection between two different topics you're interested in. For example, I wrote a paper on the connection between various childhood learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia) and atypical dementias (L-PPA, PCA, dysexecutive type Alzheimer's disease).

Teaching experience

I volunteered as a tutor for fourth and fifth grade students, and I served as a captain of my speech team in high school, consistently mentoring and teaching younger students.
