Bio
I am a current masters student at the University of Texas at Austin. My main passion is data analytics and discovering solutions that utilize the fun methods of data science! My program deals with business analytics where I combine my love for data with the intricate world of finance. Additionally, I enjoy finding my own data sources for other EDA projects through web scraping! When I am not having fun with data, I also enjoy rock climbing when the opportunity arises! I also enjoy playing chess online or with friends to try and create magic over the board. At home, I have two lovely cats that are always up to play or sleep the entire day away.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Game Reviews
Video game companies want to know what makes a game great and what gives it the potential to gain good ground with gamers. How can we get input from consumers? Well, you can web scrape what gamers have to say about certain games that are similar to a game you are wanting to create! The idea is to scrape these reviews and do analysis on the various ratings and comments on what they liked/disliked about the content of the game. You could create a dashboard on what metrics games that score well tend to perform high on (gameplay, story, characters, etc.) and see which factors matter most!

As an undergrad, I tutored middle and high school students in the Austin area for AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). The purpose of the program is to help disadvantaged students by providing them the tools necessary to get into a college or university. This is achieved by helping them create college application materials, understanding the college class environment, and encouraging volunteering in their communities and involvement in extra-curricular activities.Credentials
