Hi! I am Ja'Nieka. Academically, I majored in Human Resources Development in undergrad while working full-time as a Human Resources Generalist in local government. Over the course of my tenure I have had to not only research to ensure the organization remained competitive in pay and benefits, but also to identify and address personnel related issues affecting the workforce and/or organization. I have had to analyze data and deliver accurate information for various reporting duties such as turnover and unemployment, pay discrepancies, and program development. I am a very family oriented person. Most activities I participate in are with my family. I have a young son and I enjoy spending my time with him; watching and helping him learn and develop into a bright and healthy child. I enjoy networking and sightseeing, but I also love spending time at home binge watching Bridgerton and comedy specials. Fun fact is that I am a nontraditional student and I worked for quite awhile before I completed my degree, however, I would not recommend that route. It is best to focus on education while you are young to in essence, get it out of the way so you can begin to live out your dreams!Project ideas
