Bio

Hello! I'm a computer vision researcher with 7+ years of experience in image processing, deep learning, and data science. Much of my experience comes from working at BallerTV where I applied AI to youth sports to create their autonomous sports production, filming 500k+ games! My research interests are quite diverse, often touching varied topics in generative AI, robotics, and mathematics. I've always been passionate about media and entertainment, and to me computer vision is the perfect mix of creativity and technicality combined to bring a piece of media to life. From the use of AI in sports video to advanced tools behind Photoshop and movie animations, there's something magical about the experience of creating something new that anyone can interact with and enjoy.

AI Coach for Basketball Dribbling

Create an algorithm that analyzes video frames to understand basketball dribbling and deliver feedback to the user. Research objectives: - Learn and apply object detection methods - Test ideas to track and analyze object trajectories to recognize events - Develop logic to give feedback to user based on analyzed events Students are recommended to have some prior programming experience

Predicting Winners in Soccer (Football)

Learn data science by analyzing soccer datasets to predict the outcomes of matches! Research objectives: - Gain familiarity with exploring datasets - Formulate hypotheses that lead to good prediction outcomes - Learn to train and test models to select best method
