Bio
Hi there! I'm Simon, an engineer who loves blending the worlds of tech and finance. I got my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and am now working on my MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, focusing on Venture Capital. I’ve been lucky to work at Amazon Lab126, where I’ve taken on roles in project engineering, reliability engineering, and hardware development. My job has been all about bringing cool new products to life, making sure they work perfectly, and finding ways to improve them. When I’m not buried in work or studies, I love tinkering with 3D printing projects and exploring the outdoors. I’m really into additive manufacturing and have led some exciting research in that area. I also enjoy analyzing market trends and investment opportunities, which is why I’m so excited about moving into venture capital someday.Project ideas
Project ideas are meant to help inspire student thinking about their own project. Students are in the driver seat of their research and are free to use any or none of the ideas shared by their mentors.
Product Development and Research for Consumer Hardware/Software
Join me in a hands-on project where you'll get to design and develop a new consumer product from start to finish. We'll combine hardware and software to solve real-world problems, drawing from my experience in engineering and product development. Previously worked on autonomous robotics within Amazon warehouses and Lab126.
