Staci Hetzel

Staci Hetzel was the Head of Academics of Polygence from 2020-2022.

During her early undergraduate years, she was struck by the importance of mentorship in the sciences. It was because of her mentors that she started her PhD in inorganic chemistry at Yale University, where she received the TF Cooke Teaching Award after her first year. Her experience teaching and mentoring in graduate school led her to Polygence where she mentored some of the earliest students of the program.
