Ross Greer is a PhD Candidate in Electrical & Computer Engineering studying Intelligent Systems, Robotics, and Control at the University of California, San Diego.
Ross conducts research with the Laboratory for Intelligent & Safe Automobiles and the Center for Research in Entertainment & Learning at UCSD. He enjoys teaching students in courses on Intelligent Systems, Autonomous Vehicles, Digital Image Processing, and Machine Learning for Music & Audio. In addition to his research publications, Ross is co-author of the upcoming textbook Deep & Shallow: Machine Learning for Music & Audio.
Ross received B.S. and B.A. degrees in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Engineering Physics, and Music from UC Berkeley, and an M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
He loves to engage with the bright and hard-working students of Polygence, and is always happy to mentor students who are interested in exploring artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning!
